"The idea was born several years ago, when the gallery Bottegantica was already establishing itself as a national point of reference for nineteenth-century Italian painting, and the Parisian headquarters of the Maurizio Nobile gallery had just opened. The projects in progress at the time, the numerous commitments to international fairs and the busy calendar of events of the respective galleries unfortunately did not allow us to see the realisation of this project that was so dear to our hearts".
