ITALICS / PROCIDA 2021

On the occasion of the first PANORAMA exhibition (Procida, 2-5 September 2021), the first face-to-face appointment organized by ITALICS, curated by Vincenzo de Bellis, associate director of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis of the first event, Bottegantica has selected an important artwork by Alberto Savinio.

For the ITALICS PANORAMA exhibition, various works of different techniques, supports and periods will be exhibited: 5 performative works, 10 site-specific installations, 10 works of ancient art: about 45 works exhibited in twenty places on the island representing over 3 centuries of Italian art, which will have a particularly relevant weight within the initiative; of the 50 artists on display, more than half will be Italians.
In fact, various realities of the peninsula collaborate in the realization: Intesa San Paolo, partner of the project, Campania Region, Donnaregina Foundation - Mother Museum and the Municipality of Procida.
Bottegantica will exhibit the following work by Alberto Savinio in the Civic Museum of Procida (located on the ground floor of the former Conservatory of the Orphans in Terra Murata):
