Light and colour, Bruno Bani

The exhibition, I fondamenti della realtà, curated by Enzo Savoia and Giada Forte, aims to investigate the creative stages of Bruno Bani in his process of formulating the constituent elements of reality: mathematics and logic.

The exhibition is one of the appointments of Lab/Contemporary, the project through which Bottegantica opens its field of interests to include contemporary art.

In this dialogue, the viewer is invited to investigate the space, elementary term for any evolution. Through a plane and a few sinuous and circular lines, Bruno Bani creates a microcosm where everything becomes tangible and finished, a world in which complexity is transformed into essentiality.

Born in Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan) in 1964, Bruno Bani has been passionate about photography since his youth. Through the camera he began to scrutinize the world of art. Bani regularly collaborates in important contexts with art galleries and artists' archives, public and private companies, cultural organizations, magazines, publishing houses.

During the course of his artistic production, Bruno Bani has dedicated himself to art in its many forms, but photography has always been his guiding thread. In recent years, he has followed another passion: painting. He regularly exhibits in Milan, Paris and New York.
