Giovanni Segantini, "Staircase with priest" / The essence of Truth, WORKS FROM THE COLLECTION
Galleria Civica G. Segantini, Comune di Arco, Trento
A new exhibition itinerary at the Galleria "Segantini".
The solitary figure of an old priest walking up the stairs; a clear separation between lit and shadowed areas; the attempt to capture the moment when the first light of the morning and the darkness of the night intermingle: all these elements skillfully appear in the painting "Scalinata con prete (Staircase with priest)", recently purchased by the Municipality of Arco and exhibited in the rooms of the Galleria Civica "Giovanni Segantini" in Palazzo dei Panni.
A new exhibition itinerary curated by Niccolò D'Agati with all the works belonging to the Gallery's collection and enriched with loans from prestigious institutions and private collections.
